Frustrated, she began to look through the photos, a last ditch effort to find her woman. Her busy fingers brushed against a card. She pulled the card out to see what it said, suddenly excited at what she found. It was a religious card of some sort, but its content didn't matter except for a name, Leah Homewood. She squealed with excitement, immediately thinking of what to do next.
"Now the story comes to a whole new phase," she said, pleased that she now had enough information to do what she does best.
"You know my obsessive-compulsive thing," she said. "Just remember that, honey. We can find anyone."
She checked the list she made of all the Leahs who had attended Hillsdale, searching for the last name "Homewood" - she attended Hillsdale in 1999. She frantically made calls, checked every name and number on the White Pages and filtered through Facebook. Martin succeeded once again.
"I'm telling you, I'm crazy, okay?" she said. "I always get my man. Or woman."
And the box of photos? It's in the mail.
