10. Michael Sessions did not call Brandon Thomas from his lawyer's office. While Michael was present in his lawyer's office, Brandon Thomas called Michael's cell phone, told him he needed $850.00 and that he would then "drop the charges" against Michael.

11. Michael advised Brandon that he would not pay him $850.00.

12. The computer charges against Michael were dismissed in exchange for successful completion of 40 hours of community service.

13. Michael had performed 6 hours of community service in the laundry room of the Hillsdale Community Health Center. (It was summer, it was hot, it was not nice duty.)

14. Someone complained to the Prosecutor that Michael was performing his community service at the hospital.

15. Michael's father is employed by Hillsdale Community Health Center.

16. Both Duke Anderson and Michael Sessions were surprised to learn that Duke Anderson is Michael's mentor, however, neither find the suggestion objectionable.

17. Because an issue had been raised regarding Michael's location of community service, Michael started over, completing 40 hours of community service at the Hillsdale County Senior Center where Michael painted walls, delivered means and cleaned the premises.

18. Upon successfully completing community service, the charges against Michael were dismissed.

It is disheartening to read half-truths and inaccuracies repeated so often. It is disheartening to realize that Doug Moon would repeat skewed facts regarding the 2007 charges brought against Michael Sessions. The 2007 charges relate only to two young men, a lapse in judgment, and a computer prank that lacked humor. The 2007 incident had nothing whatsoever to do with the hospital or the rezoning of the hospital and Mr. Moon was wrong to repeat incorrect information when he should be focusing on the many critical issues that are presently facing the city and both mayoral candidates.

Mr. Sessions tried to do community service at a place of his choosing. When the prosecutor learned of this he set up the senior center arrangement.
