Whether it's going to a bar with some friends or lounging around the student union, everyone has their own preferences when it comes to watching Monday Night Football.

There are a number of popular places to go and watch the games in Hillsdale. Restaurants near campus offer students options down the hill and are great for watching games and enjoying an escape from Saga.

Saucy Dogs, in Jonesville, Mich., is a very popular place to watch Sunday football games, but unfortunately it is closed on Mondays. Two beers are always on tap, and the food is incredibly good, as well as cheap: each wing only costs 78 cents.

"Our most famous dish is our Pulled Pork Sandwich, and our BBQ nachos are pretty famous too," said restaurant manager Troy Harden.

"I love to go eat at the Saucy Dogs to watch the football games," said junior Brittany Pohl.

The Hunt Club, located in downtown Hillsdale at the intersection of Hillsdale Rd. and Bacon St., offers ten roasted wings for $5.99 and an all-you-can-eat broasted chicken with fries and cole slaw for $9.99 every Sunday in addition to at least three other specials they advertise daily.

The Hunt Club is fully equipped to handle a Sunday or a Monday crowd with NFL Ticket available on all of their satellite TVs.

Applebee's in Coldwater is another good place to get your Monday Night Football fix. They also have NFL Ticket, and all of their appetizers are half off.

Although Ray's Tavern, in Reading, Mich., does not have any specials for the weekly tradition, it is still great to go and watch the game while trying one of their nationally acclaimed burgers.

But even if you don't feel like driving off campus to watch the game, there are still a number of great places to watch it on campus.

"I usually watch football either in the student union or in the DSL, which is the downstairs lounge of Simpson," said freshman Luke Mugge.

"I like watching football on the big screen in the Union," Pohl said.

When the big screen TV is functioning in the student union, there is almost always a game playing on it Monday nights, but that doesn't stop many students from enjoying it from the comfort of their dorm rooms.
