Two semesters before graduation, seniors honored by scholastic and leadership honoraries prepare to fulfill campus duties as members of Omicron Delta Kappa, Lamplighters and senior government.

Omicron Delta Kappa, a 95-year-old leadership honorary, selected seniors Zach Howard, Taylor Gage, Lauren Heilborn, Megan Huening, Brooke Knight, Anna Leutheuser, Jessica Miller, Brian Painter, Betsy Peters, Nancy Swope and Josh Trojniak for membership this year.

An honorary unique to Hillsdale, Lamplighters honors eight senior women every year who demonstrate intellectual excellence and virtue. This year Lamplighters honors seniors Amanda Hall, Amy Luke, Anna Leutheuser, Ellen Clines, Katherine Martin, Megan Huening, and Sarah Holland.

The senior class elects the senior government at the end of their junior year to coordinate senior social events, recommend commencement speakers to the administration and choose a senior gift.

Senior Abby Ashmore leads senior government as president with Brooke Olesen serving as vice president. Treasurer Nancy Swope will manage senior gift details, Betsy Peters serves as secretary and social chair James Bild will oversee social event planning this year. Seniors Vivienne Jago and Brandon Carmack serve as class ambassadors.
