Corrections:
In its Feb. 19 article, "Cocoa and the 'love couch' - Jilly Beans up and running," The Collegian incorrectly spelled Brock Michael's name.
In its Feb. 19 article, "Seniors struggle to find graduate school space," The Collegian incorrectly reported that senior Calla Brodbeck had been rejected by seven graduate schools. She has been rejected by four of 13. The Collegian also regrets not explicitly informing Brodbeck it would publish information from Brodbeck's interview, and not merely use it for a class assignment.
In "Chargers electrify conference meet," printed Feb. 19, The Collegian incorrectly reported several facts. The accurate ones are as follows: The 400-medley relay made an NCAA A-cut, and occurred on the second day. Senior Anne Verhoef placed fifth in the 100 freestyle, and her record in the 50-free will be recorded as 24.36.
In its Feb. 12 article, "Dean denies campus group meeting space," The Collegian reported that 40 students belong to Hillsdale's chapter of University Christian Outreach. Actually, 20 students attend the group's meetings regularly, while 40 regularly attend a seminar they offer. The Collegian also reported that Dean of Men Aaron Petersen blocked on-campus meetings of Hillsdale's chapter of University Christian Outreach. While Petersen advised the decision, the administrator actually deciding to forbid the meetings was College Chaplain Duane Beauchamp.
