Today marks a very special birthday for a man whose life's work has affected millions. No I am not talking about the great Abraham Lincoln, but Charles Darwin. Today marks the 200th anniversary of his birth. His work in biology has fundamentally changed the face of an entire scientific field and paved the way for many beneficial discoveries over the 150 years since the publication of the Origin of Species. So on this Thursday remember Charles Darwin and his enormous impact on our daily lives. Happy Darwin Day! "Whilst this planet has gone cycling according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved."- Charles Darwin 1859.
