Well done, DTD
On Nov. 13 I had the distinct pleasure of again being on campus. (It's always pleasant to return to the college.) What made this visit special was being able to attend the Fall Convocation. The choir's performance was stirring. President Arnn's remarks and Professor Conner's address were insightful and encouraging. The acknowledged academic achievements of the various organizations were impressive and I congratulate all those who were recognized.
I am writing because I want to recognize the outstanding work of the men of Delta Tau Delta's Kappa Colony. Though it was determined they were not eligible to compete for the fraternity scholastic trophy, their 3.328 grade point average dominated the performances of all but one organization.
It has been a personal privilege to be associated with these outstanding young men since Delta Tau Delta was re-colonized at Hillsdale a little over a year ago. It is obvious they exemplify what it means to be a fraternity, and I am confident they will continue to raise that standard to their credit, and to the credit of Hillsdale College.
Respectfully,
