Class registration process changes
Students will not change class schedules during spring registration on Jan. 12 and 13, as usual. Instead, students may make changes to their class schedules online using WebAdvisor until Jan. 7, and then make further changes after Jan. 14 using add/drop cards, if necessary.

Freshman woman injured
Freshman Sarah Martin was injured Sunday night in a car wreck on U.S. Highway 12.
Martin was driving back to Hillsdale from her Michigan home and was involved in a serious car wreck.
She is doing well, according to her friend freshman Sarah Rivas.
"She's fine, she's looking good," Rivas said.
Martin is currently resting at her home in Monroe, Mich. She declined comment on the specific nature of her injuries.
She will not return this semester.

Track star in hiatus
Last week, senior Jason Stomps underwent minimal risk surgery to fix his respiratory difficulties and possible pneumonia. He is currently staying at the Hillsdale Community Health Center.
"It's really hard to see a great athlete like this," said head track and field coach Bill Lundberg.
Stomps will not return for the remainder of the semester, but he hopes to practice with the track team without playing games for at least the indoor season and possibly the outdoor season as well. This would extend his eligibility for a year, allowing him extra practice time for Olympic tryouts.
Stomps was named All-American twice in indoor shotput and hammer throw, and he finished fourth in the hammer throw at the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
"He's not the 265-pound guy that he used to be, but he is on his way to recovery and there should not be any more problems," assistant track coach Jeff Forino said.
