Atheletes in Action tour plays Men's Basketball Sunday

November 2 at 4 p.m. the Chargers host the 2008 Fall Tour team of the student-athlete ministry Athletes in Action (AIA).

"We thought it would be a great opportunity to play an organization with a great mission," said men's basketball assistant coach Dan Evans. "We're looking forward to our guys playing more than each other."

AIA's mission, according to its Web site, is "Building spiritual movements everywhere through the platform of sport."

With lots of talented opponents, including NBA Development League star Reed Rawlings, the exhibition game promises to a good preview of the upcoming basketball season.
