Online registration hopefully leads more improvements

We finally have online registration, and (as expected) it's a success. Some of us registered in under four minutes, as opposed to more than one hour in a prehistoric circus.

Online registration is one of several items the college employed to improve campus life. But in order to catch up to where we should be, given that it's the year 2008, we need more. So the question we have is this: How high are the following items on the college's to-do list?

Some of us want the option to recycle, and some of us would like to see the school take a little initiative to at least give us some bins in areas on campus that see a high volume of paper and bottle influx.

The added meal plan options we got this year weren't improvements, and we want more choices that are conducive to our schedules and pocketbooks.

Some of us still seek a place to smoke indoors. Many people smoke on campus, and always have. It is unfair to toss them outside. Could we at least offer them a smokers' lounge?

And finally, why don't we have wireless Internet access in dorms yet? We have it almost everywhere up the hill. Sure, the cost is high, but we think it worth the price tag.

The short of it is this: We see improvements, and we've been reporting on them (dorm restoration, for instance). But there should be more.
