Tent Party

The party will last from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday by the Roche Sports Complex. A cash bar will be available to those of age. Students get free admission but must present their ID card to get in. For those without a student ID, the entrance fee is $5.

Anyone wanting to access the cash bar must provide a photo ID.

Student bands Juny and the Hotness, and 1960s/'70s rock band Rare Earth will perform.

Junior Tommy Ogden described Juny's sound as "very melodic pop music" with a little bit of rock'n'roll and a touch of avant-garde.

Junior Brandon Carmack, who plays keyboard in the Hotness, described his band's sound as "acoustic rock."

"We try to let everything base around the acoustic guitar and build up from there," he said.

Rare Earth's Web site describes the band as "the People's Band," possessing the "greatest musicianship and singing ever to be heard."

Sports Events

The Charger football team will play the University of Findlay at Muddy Waters Stadium at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is $6 for adults, $3 for students, $2 for senior citizens and $2 for children ages 12 and under. Current students can get in free by presenting their student ID.

Also on Saturday, at 11 a.m., is the Blue and White women's swim meet in the Sports Complex.

Hillsdale College's rugby team will play an alumni match Saturday at noon on the Intramural fields.
