We're students. We all have papers, articles, photos, posters, notes and more to print off on campus computers. But, if you're a laptop user, using a zip drive or e-mailing yourself droves of paperwork is a hassle.

Luckily, there's a quick and easy way to connect your laptop computer, camera or zip drive directly to a printer in the library.

The plug-and-play printer is located on the left side of the first roundtable of reference computers inside the library.

The first time you use the printer you'll need to install drivers, but every time after, you merely plug in the printer's USB cable and you're set to print.

First, using your ID card, check out the printer drivers at the Main Circulation desk.

Next, plug the printer's provided USB cable into your laptop.

Insert the driver CD into your computer. Choose "English" and "Printer Series 4200" in the drop down boxes that appear. The disk will then guide you through the rest of the installation process.

As soon as the driver installation finishes, you can use the new printer. Depending on your operating system, you may need to also "Add a Printer" in System Preferences (for Macs) or Control Panel (for PCs).

You can also connect your camera or photo iPod using your own USB cable to print photographs.
