Door schedules fixed for students
Due to a mistake, students my have discovered locked doors on the Grewcock Student Union, Kendall and Lane halls and the science buildings mid-afternoon, instead of late at night.
The doors run on a programmed schedule that locks Grewcock between the hours of 9 p.m. and 7 a.m. and the classroom and science buildings between 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The doors were still on summer schedule, locking between 4:30 p.m. and 7 a.m., Director of Security Mike Wertz said. He set them back to their regular schedule on Monday.
"You gotta tell us so we know," he said. "We would have fixed it much sooner."
Some students have reported their ID cards no longer open campus doors. If this happens, they can stop by the security office for a free replacement card, Wertz said.

Posters for sale
Psi Chi, Hillsdale's psychology honorary, will host a poster sale today and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
The sale will be held in the Grewcock Student Union commons area and will feature thousands of pop culture posters, said Psi Chi President Calla Brodbeck, a senior.
Psi Chi usually holds the annual fundraiser in the Knorr Student Center, but Brodbeck said she hopes the new location will provide new opportunities to "get the word out about psychology."
All proceeds go toward Psi Chi's operations.
"Our percentage of the proceeds helps us bring speakers to campus, and get psychology out there, since we're a small department on campus," junior Hannah Falldorf said.
Falldorf said she vests a personal interest in the sale, too.
"It makes dorm rooms a heck of a lot more interesting," she said. "I'm going to look for a Led Zeppelin poster."
