OneRepublic's newest album, "Dreaming Out Loud," has put the group on the music map. Featuring the undeniably catchy hit single, "Apologize," it's the perfect sit-down-on-a-summer-afternoon-and-chill album.

Many of the songs are very similar. Now depending on your preference this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Personally I enjoy the way in which OneRepulic is able to twist one style of music so many different ways.

The sounds of songs are all very distinctly OneRepublic but at the same time resemble everything from the Beatles to the Backstreet Boys - kind of crazy but still kind of fun.

"Apologize" was not the only hit to move up the charts. Though the album debuted in November of 2007, "Stop and Stare" is beginning to also make a mark as one of iTunes' top 10 most downloaded songs.

Whether you want to study and relax or run around and add a little spice to your day, OneRepublic's "Dreaming Out Loud" can give you a hand. The group utilizes the combination of falsetto and piano like few before them.

One well known song that may help some of you get a feel for exactly what OneRepublic's sound is like is Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" (made ever so famous by our beloved "American Idol").

Grab a lemonade and a comfy pillow and enjoy.
