IM Basketball season concludes; Faculty defeats Simpson All-Stars

After fighting back from a halftime deficit, The Faculty team brought home the Intramural Basketball Championship trophy Tuesday night, defeating the Simpson All-Stars.
Assistant men's basketball coach Dan Evans led The Faculty to the victory by going 7 for 8 from the free-throw line. Dean of Men Aaron Petersen earned the first four points of the game and Vice President of Administration Rich Péwé disrupted the Simpson All-Star's offense by stealing the ball and grabbing rebounds.
The Faculty, a No. 5 seed, defeated No. 1 seed Sig Chi last week before moving into the finals.
