On Wednesday, Student Federation granted funds to Hillsdale Christian Fellowship and the Well. Hillsdale Christian Fellowship's new student outreach received $500 for freshman welcome packets, the kick-off picnic and the weekend retreat at the beginning of fall semester.
The federation also granted $150 to the Well, which provides weekly worship for students, to purchase refreshments for the weekly gatherings, which draw about 50 to 100 students every week.
The Well also requested $200 to cover drum rental from this semester and last semester. The federation voted to consider this request at another time.
The federation also gave official club approval to the Gordie Foundation, which aims to increase awareness about the dangers of alcohol abuse and poisoning.
