Review: "Vantage Point"

If you like "24," "Prison Break" or anything that gets your heart pumping and pulse rising, you will be enthralled by "Vantage Point."
The movie, starring Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox as the president's secret service agents, does not let up.
From the very first scene through the absolute last second of the movie, the plot thickens and builds through action, suspense and dramatic twists all centered around a terrorist plot to assassinate the president.
While the movie overall is ridiculously entertaining and gripping, I do have to say that for those who are not huge fans of your classic "run and shoot" movie or who find the whole suspense thing scary rather than fun, this is not your cup of tea.
One car chase scene near the end of the movie will make you grab whomever you're sitting next to - friend or stranger - and hang on for dear life. Yeah, it's like that. Not to mention that the last 30 seconds of the film will find you absolutely freaking out because you can't decide how the dramatic ending will conclude.
Just as the title suggests, "Vantage Point" comes at the plot by presenting it from eight different strangers' points of view. As each one is presented, you find yourself trying to solve the puzzle before the movie does, but alas, you're just one piece short.
I give "Vantage Point" definite props. One main reason is that the creators of the movie were able to get the job done in fascinating fashion with a minimal amount of profanity and gore and zero sexual content. So refreshing.
