GOOD TO KNOW: Beware Student Union bathroom placement; womens' seats too comfortable

Beware: the bathrooms in the Grewcock Student Union, while considerably cleaner than the ones in the Knorr Student Center (and completely devoid of crickets), aren't very consistent.
Upstairs, near AJ's Café, the men's room is on the right while women go left. Downstairs, however, it's a different story - the women are on the right with men on the left.
Many students, including senior Chandler Baer, have inadvertently walked into the wrong room.
"I did that the other day," Baer said, "and met someone new. I had a bit of a conversation with the guy."
While you're in there: guys, you have to be standing in front of the stalls for at least eight seconds if you want it to flush after you're finished.
And girls, watch out for getting too comfortable on the toilet seat. Many women have complained that the toilet seats conform so well to their backsides that it feels too much like home.
"The toilet seats [in the upstairs women's room] are too ergonomically comfortable," sophomore Maggie O'Connor said. "I don't like falling asleep while I use the toilet."
Freshman Connie Brandin also notes that while these bathrooms are very nice, "maybe they could refill the toilet paper more often."
The moral: avoid these pratfalls and your next "study break" (read: "Rock Band" break) will be trouble free.
