This week, 24 Hillsdale College students traveled to Washington, D.C., to participate in the annual March for Life. Thousands of participants head to the nation's capital each year on Jan. 22 to protest the Supreme Court's 1974 Roe v. Wade decision.

Senior Lynn Wilhelm, president and founder of the Hillsdale College chapter of Students for Life, helped organize this year's Hillsdale contingent to the march. Wilhelm said this is the third year the Hillsdale Students for Life has made the pilgrimage to D.C., this time teaming up and traveling with approximately 75 other Students for Life of Michigan.

Three times as many Hillsdale students attended the event this year as in 2007, Wilhelm said.
