A basket by Julie Slot brought the score 55-53 with nine seconds on the clock at the end of the team's game Saturday afternoon.

The women's basketball team won a close game against Saginaw Valley State University after flip-flopping control of the ball and the board for the last 10 minutes of the game.

Multiple baskets by junior Katie Cezat and numerous three-pointers from freshman Kara McCormick helped the team win after being six points down at halftime.
