The Hillsdale College women's basketball team took first place in the Wolf Bus Lines tournament in Shippensburg, Pa., Nov. 16 and 17.
Junior Katie Cezat was named MVP of the tournament.
"Katie was big for us, she tore it up," junior Claire Aubrey said. "She's the type of player that goes out there and gets it done."
The Chargers beat West Virginia Weslyan 66-55 Friday night, a game in which Cezat scored a career-high 26 points.
On Saturday night the team beat host Shippensburg University 64-49.
"It was exciting this weekend how well we played as a team," Cezat said. "We improved from the first to the second game. We learned a lesson that we have to play hard from beginning to end."
