Brief: Hillsdale alum sweeps Kansas City Marathon; qualifies for Boston

Also on the day of the GLIAC Championships, Hillsdale alum and All-American steeple chaser, Peter Sercer '07, ran his debut marathon at the Kansas City Marathon.

Sercer turned in a stunning performance sweeping the entire field and finishing 5 minutes ahead of the next runner. As a result of winning the marathon, Sercer was awarded a $1,000 check and qualified for the Boston Marathon April 21.

Sercer is unsure if he will continue to train and compete in another marathon.
