Brief: Senior flute recital

Floutist Elsa Johnson will be performing her senior recital this Friday, Oct. 26 at 5 p.m. in MacNamara Rehearsal Hall.
After hundreds of hours of practice, Johnson will be performing pieces by a variety of composers, selected by her and her teachers.
"It's been at least an hour per day since I started working on this music last fall and recently it's been much more,"?she said.
Johnson has been studying flute for about 12 years. She currently studies with Jaimie Wagner, but also took lessons from Rachel Waddell at Hillsdale.
After she graduates in December, she will get married and move to Bloomington, Ind.
Junior Kathryn Williams and junior Cameron Wilkens will accompany Johnson on piano.
Sophomore Erin Risch will accompany on cello and Senior Bethany Johnson will accompany on violin.
