Last week's Tower Players' performance of Shakespeare's "Cymbeline" earned any standing ovations it received. The cast and crew of the play deserve recognition for their successful production. Last weekend, I took three hours to watch the director's cut of "Woodstock"- a 1970 documentary about the famous music festival. Then, I watched it again. Even though the Beatles version of "Guitar Hero" came out last Christmas, despite the fact that The Who played at the Superbowl and regardless of the peace sign symbol littering most clothing and accessory stores, it is glaringly apparent that the values expressed by the performers and promoters at Woodstock could not be more different from those expressed by musicians today.
