Sophomore Brent Eaton got his start in basketball in the sixth grade in his hometown of Middlebury, Ind. He played on an AAU team with fellow Charger and red-shirt freshman, Ryan Choiniere, who said they always talked about playing on the same college team. (1) comment

The Hillsdale women's basketball team brought their overall record back to .500 last weekend and are now 9-5 in the GLIAC - one game behind South Division leader Findlay University. Just last week the Chargers had lost three straight games, but they responded by going 3-0 in their next three. (0) comments

The Charger men's basketball team has now won five in a row and six of its last seven games. There's no place like home. After a hard-fought, 61-57 victory over Saginaw Valley State University Thursday, the men were battle-tested and ready for more. They got all they could handle against Lake Superior State University Saturday but were able to claw out the 'W' in overtime, 77-74, thanks to some big plays in the final minutes. (0) comments

With one month left before nationals, the Charger track and field team continued to dominate the competition in Marion, Ind., as they traveled to Indiana Wesleyan University for the second weekend in a row. For the fourth straight week a Hillsdale Charger earned GLIAC Athlete of the Week. (0) comments

Caden Conley doesn't look like a coach. Tall, young and wiry, he could easily be mistaken as a member of the track team, rather than the newest member of its staff. Conley grew up in nearby Homer, Mich., and graduated from Sienna Heights College in 2008. (0) comments

The Lady Chargers are knocking down their work loads to rest and mentally prepare for the fast approaching Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference Championship meet, at Wayne State University in Detroit. The team started doing what is known as tapering or cutting down the yardage that they swim at practice. (1) comment
