The Collegian Weekly: The opinion of The Collegian editorial staff

three cheers for theatre and '6 characters'

The Tower Players' performances of Luigi Pirandello's "Six Characters in Search of an Author" wrapped up over the weekend, bringing to a successful close the first full-stage production directed by a student and eliciting quite a buzz of discussion among students. (0) comments

With all due respect, I disagree with Dr. Arnn, if he actually said that Hillsdale is "not a political school." And I also disagree with Mr. Stolyarov that to require a course in biblical studies or a theology course would be to "shove [theology] down" anyone's "throats if they do not wish it. (1) comment

Although my GPA when I was a student was not nearly as high as Mr. Stolyarov's, I am compelled to respond to his curious editorial of April 16. I qualify that I am presently neutral in the debate about a mandatory theology course, although prudence, priorities or practicalities may weigh against such a proposal. (0) comments

Thank you, Nathan Britton. Thank you, Calvin Freiburger, Danielle Larsen, Joel Gehrke and thank you, Kyle Smith. To them, I am a "leftist" (or "anarchist") who seeks, with my "flawed knowledge of history," to undermine the "eternal foundations" of the college and, as such, am bound to suffer the "punishment of eternal fire.
