Intramural volleyball set to serve this weekend

Venture into more co-ed intramural sports begins with volleyball

This Sunday, the Sigma Chi and Alpha Tau Omega fraternities will host the first annual intramural volleyball tournament on their outdoor sand courts. The games will go from roughly 1 to 6 p.m. Fifteen teams have signed up to play. Resident Life Advisor and Director of Campus Recreation Ashley LaCarter said the student community has requested IM volleyball and the tournament intends to meet that desire. (0) comments

Senior Jazmin Williams led the women's outdoor track and field team to a 17th place ranking in Division II this past weekend with a first place finish at Miami (Ohio) University Invitational in the 400-meter hurdles, shaving more than a second off the Hillsdale College record she broke last week. Softball dismissed by Ashland in close games

Charger softball swept by Eagles yesterday on muddy fields with only one run in each game by opponents; they move to 5-15 in the GLIAC and 11-21 overall

Charger softball had a tough week, playing Grand Valley State University Friday, Ferris State University Saturday and Ashland University at home yesterday. Today, they will face the University of Indianapolis. Grand Valley, Ferris and Ashland are all conference teams who are currently ranked in the top five for the GLIAC. (0) comments
