Campus security should take a hint from the weather and chill out as winter approaches.

Security employees have cracked down on parking lot restrictions in preparation for the approaching season. According to Director of Campus Security Mike Wertz, as non-student lots become partially covered with snow, fewer spaces will be available for faculty and staff who the lots are reserved for.

A little after 9:30 p.m. last Friday night about 85 Hillsdale students dressed in their comfiest pajamas and armed with their favorite pillows and blankets, piled into two charter buses outside the George Roche Sports Complex. Just before the buses shoved off, some students took window paint markers and covered the tinted glass with numbers, Greek letters and good luck wishes for the Hillsdale Charger football team.

While I agree that his firing would probably drive off a good deal of the two years of recruits he has now and the ones being scouted now, I think that he has done no favors for Michigan.
